Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to be sure before you pay, and free to leave whenever you like. This explains how the trial, cancelling and refunds work.

Try it before you pay

Every account starts with a 30-day free trial — everything working, no payment details asked for. You only pay if you decide to subscribe, so you can put your members in, pair a tablet and run a fortnight of real classes at no cost and no risk.

Subscribing early never costs you free days. Subscribe part-way through the trial and nothing is taken until the trial would have ended; cancel before then and you pay nothing at all.

What it costs

£19 a month, or £190 for a whole year, with VAT included. One price for the whole gym, however many members you have and however many tablets you put by however many doors. Subscriptions are billed in advance, a month or a year at a time, and there is no minimum term beyond the period you have paid for. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), who issue your receipts and VAT invoices.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, from the Billing page or by emailing us. Your subscription stays active until the end of the month or year you have paid for and is not renewed after that. There is no cancellation fee.

When it ends the account becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted and you can still download all of it — but the tablet by your door stops recording people, so cancel with that in mind rather than on the morning of a class.

Cancelling is not the same as closing. If you want the data deleted, close the account from Settings → Your data; it is deleted 30 days later and you can change your mind until then.

Refunds

Because of the free trial you never pay before deciding the Service suits you. If something goes wrong we deal with refund requests fairly:

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Paddle.

The Service is sold to businesses, including sole traders and unincorporated clubs, so the statutory cancellation rights that apply to consumer purchases generally do not apply. Nothing here takes away a right you do have in law.

How to ask

Email hello@tapinbook.co.uk with your gym’s web address and a short note of what happened. A person replies, usually within a couple of working days.
